Nebras Anam

Nebras Anam is a Peacebuilding Specialist at DeepRoot Consulting since April 2020, focusing on systematic analysis and resolution of violent conflict in Yemen. Previously, Nebras served as Executive Director of the Yemen Civil Alliance for Peace Building and held the role of Yemen Campaign Consultant at Crisis Action. As a member of the United Nations Youth Advisory Panel from July 2018 to April 2020, Nebras contributed to enhancing youth participation in the UNFPA-led youth agenda in Yemen. Nebras also directed the Yemen Peace School and worked as an HR Officer at Shawdhab for Childhood and Development Organization, managing child protection staff. Early career experiences include serving as a Communication Assistant for the National Dialogue Conference and as a member of the Children's Parliament, advocating for children's rights. Nebras holds a Democratic Fellowship from the American University of Beirut and a degree in Information Technology from Lebanese International University.
