Matthew Ko is the Co-Founder and COO of DeepScribe, a startup that uses artificial intelligence and natural language processing to improve the way businesses transcribe and interpret data. Prior to DeepScribe, Matthew worked as a Technology Consultant for Ernst & Young's Financial Services Office (FSO), helping some of the world's leading companies enhance their data usage and interpretation. Matthew also worked as an underwriter for AIG's Large Limits Commercial Property department, and as a Founder for Delphi, a startup that uses artificial intelligence and natural language processing to harvest and evaluate patentable opportunities. In addition to their professional experience, Matthew has also served as an Executive Team Member for LAUNCH: The University of California's Startup Accelerator. Matthew began their career as a Field System Engineer Assistant for Golden Star Technology Inc (GST).

Matthew Ko attended UC Berkeley College of Engineering and studied business administration at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. Matthew then went on to study corporate finance and risk analysis at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Matthew is also a Neo4j Certified Professional.

Matthew Ko reports to Akilesh Bapu, Co-Founder and CEO. They are on a team with Vince Cao - Engineer, Eric Tsai - Engineer, and Nithish JV - Engineer. Some direct reports include Dan Lockwood - Director of Customer Success, Pauline Ni - Medical Operations Director, and Charlie Kolb - Director of Growth.
