Anna Barou

Anna Barou has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Anna is currently working as a Senior Product Owner at DeepSea Technologies since November 2021. Prior to this, Anna worked at Intracom Telecom for a significant period of time. Anna started as a Production Planner in April 1998 and progressed to roles such as Team Leader-Project Manager, Scrum Master-Agile Coach, and finally Product Owner. As a Scrum Master, they handled multiple teams of software engineers and successfully implemented Ericsson's Market Customization Features. Anna also played a key role in training and supporting teams and product owners on Agile and Scrum values and practices, promoting continuous improvement. Anna'sexpertise extends to coaching individuals and teams on personal and professional development within the Agile and Scrum framework.

Anna Barou began their education in 1994 at the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering. Anna completed their studies in 1998. In 2004, Anna enrolled in Athens Information Technology (A.I.T.) to obtain a Master's degree in Information and Telecommunication Technologies, which they completed in 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Anna Barou has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2018, they obtained the "Python for Everybody Specialization" from Coursera, as well as certifications in "Core Database Concepts," "Data Management in the Cloud," and "Distributed Database Systems." Anna also completed the "Data Analysis with Python" and "Machine Learning with Python" certifications from IBM.

In 2019, Anna achieved the "AI For Everyone" certification from Coursera and became an "Oracle Cloud Platform Enterprise Analytics 2018 Certified Associate" through Oracle. In 2020, they obtained certifications in "On Leadership" and "Business Development: Strategic Planning" from LinkedIn, as well as certifications in "Communicating with Transparency" and "Problem Solving Techniques."

Most recently, in 2021, Anna earned certifications in "Introduction to Ships, Ports and Terminals" from Alison - Empower Yourself and "Basic Product Data Management (BPDM)," "Privacy for Product Development," "Product Security Training," and "Security Master Introduction" from Ericsson.
