Steve Ocepek

Steve Ocepek has worked in information security since 2001, beginning with the founding of Wholepoint Corporation, where they served as Chief Technology Officer. Over the years, Steve transitioned through various roles, including Senior Security Research Manager at Trustwave, where they helped establish SpiderLabs Research, and later as CTO of X-Force Red at IBM, earning recognition as a Distinguished Engineer. Currently, Steve is a Managing Director at Kroll, focusing on Threat & Vulnerability Management, and also contributes to community initiatives, including leading a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to local development and education in cybersecurity. Through diverse professional experiences, Steve remains committed to fostering technical talent in the cybersecurity field.
