Jake Perazzone

Jake Perazzone, PhD, is a forward-thinking research scientist specializing in machine learning, wireless communication, and signal processing. Currently a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at DeepSig, Inc., they develop algorithms that enhance ML performance in contested wireless environments. Previously a Research Scientist at the U.S. Army CCDC Army Research Laboratory, Jake led a collaboration with IBM, achieving significant speed increases in federated learning algorithms. During their PhD at Lehigh University, they created a novel authentication framework that resulted in a U.S. patent, showcasing their ability to apply complex theories to real-world applications. Jake is also recognized for their extensive peer-reviewed research and contributions to academic collaborations.
