Tim O'Shea

Dr. Tim O'Shea is the Chief Technical Officer at DeepSig, a company specializing in artificial intelligence for radio signals.

Prior to joining DeepSig, Tim was a Strategic Technical Consultant at HawkEye 360, where they provided technical guidance and support to the company's RF sensing product line.

Before HawkEye 360, Tim was the owner of O'Shea Research, a consultancy focused on next generation wireless sensing systems. Tim also worked as an RF Sensing Consultant at Federated Wireless, where they designed and built wireless sensing systems to enable spectrum sharing and optimization of spectrum resource allocation.

Tim's academic background is in electrical engineering. Tim holds a Ph.D. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a B.S. from the University of Maryland. Tim has also worked as a Technical Marketing Engineer at Cisco Systems.

Dr. Tim O'Shea received their PhD in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Prior to that, they received their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University.
