Chad Cragle

Chad Cragle has a strong background in IT, security, and compliance, with a focus on building and improving security programs. Chad has served as the Senior Director of Security and Compliance at Deepwatch since March 2023, where they are responsible for implementing proactive security measures. Prior to that, Chad worked as the Director of Security and Compliance at deepwatch, playing a key role in establishing a strong foundation for the organization. Chad also served as the Director of IT, Security and Compliance at FormAssembly from May 2018 to May 2022, where they developed a robust security program and achieved FedRAMP "Ready" status. Additionally, Chad worked as a Senior Security Engineer at Resurgent Capital Services from June 2012 to June 2018, and as a Security Auditor at Sherman Financial Group from September 2010 to June 2012.

Chad Cragle earned a Bachelor's degree in Crime, Law and Justice from Penn State University, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Chad also obtained additional certifications including the GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) from the SANS Institute in May 2018 and the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) in December 2014.
