Steven Leclerc has a diverse work experience in various roles related to information security and network infrastructure. Steven started their career with the United States Air Force, where they served as an Air Transportation Journeyman, responsible for fleet services and logistics. Steven then worked as an Information Security Intern at The University of Vermont Medical Center, where they led the development of security awareness training and coordinated an information security conference.

After that, Steven joined the US Air Force Reserve as a Cyber Transport Apprentice, providing and maintaining network infrastructure services. Steven also served in the Air National Guard as a Cyber Transport Journeyman, ensuring the success of tactical network infrastructure services for SOCOM and CENTCOM operations.

Steven then transitioned to the private sector, working at Digital Hands as an Associate Information Security Analyst and Security Specialist. In these roles, they managed security systems, analyzed network traffic, and investigated indicators of compromise for clients. Steven also conducted presentations on security analytics and provided data enrichment.

At the University of South Florida, Steven worked as a Security Engineer, where they designed, supported, and maintained a large Splunk environment. Steven also served as a Splunk Enterprise Security Administrator, developing notable events and data enrichment solutions.

Most recently, Steven has been with Deepwatch, starting as a Security Operations Engineer and progressing to Senior Security Operations Engineer and Principal SIEM Engineer roles. In this position, they collaborate with customers to provide engineering customer service, maintains internal documentation, and provides recommendations for continuous process improvement.

Steven Leclerc obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Norwich University between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science at Suffolk University from 2012 to 2013. Steven'shigh school education was completed at Spaulding High School from 2003 to 2007, focusing on Math and Sciences. In terms of certifications, Steven obtained the Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect and Splunk Core Certified Power User certifications in November 2022 and May 2022 respectively. Steven also holds the CompTIA Security+ certification, which they obtained in July 2014.
