Vinay Goyal

Vinay Goyal is a Principal Software Engineer at Deepwatch since February 2025, following a tenure as a founding team member and lead backend engineer at Dassana, which was acquired by Deepwatch. Vinay has extensive experience in software development, having worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Palo Alto Networks from October 2018 to March 2022, where significant contributions included redesigning a monolithic application into independent microservices and enhancing system performance through concurrency. Previous roles include Member of Technical Staff at RedLock, which merged with Palo Alto Networks, and a Technology Analyst intern at Morgan Stanley, focusing on system integration to improve financial platform usability. Vinay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Programming from Lovely Professional University and engaged in organizing literary events as a co-ordinator for the Open Audi Club during university years.
