Mitchel Laskey

Mitchel Laskey has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the financial and technology sectors. Mitchel is the Co-Founder and Managing General Partner of DeepWork Capital, a venture capital firm. Mitchel also served on the Board of Directors at Cogent Bank, a Florida state chartered bank.

Mitchel has worked as a Strategic Advisor at MJL Advisors, Inc., and as a Member of the Board of Advisors at The Florida Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research.

Mitchel was a Co-Founder and Board member at CNLBank, providing corporate governance for a Florida commercial bank. Mitchel also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at IZEA, a social media sponsorship company.

Mitchel has held executive positions at Brijot Imaging Systems, Inc., where they were the President and CEO, and at LifeStar Companies, where they were Co-Chairman, CEO, and President.

Additionally, they served as the CEO and President at Cytura Corporation and Dynamic Healthcare Technologies, Inc. Both companies were acquired by other organizations during their tenure.

Throughout their career, Mitchel Laskey has demonstrated strong leadership and business acumen in guiding companies to success.

Mitchel Laskey attended the University of South Florida from 1968 to 1972, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Marketing. During their time at the University of Florida in 1969 and 1970, their field of study was Accounting and Finance, although they did not complete a degree there. In May 1974, they obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant in Florida from the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA).
