Killian Dally has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2016 with the European Space Agency (ESA). Killian was selected to join the "Rocket Physics" team in the "Fly a Rocket" program and participated in the Undergraduate Rocket Campaign. In 2019, Killian worked at CERN as an Ideation Challenge Participant and Winner, tasked to find new applications to CERN-developed technologies. Killian proposed a PET-scan deblurring technology using seismic MEMS accelerometer, which led to their team winning the internal CERN IdeaSquare prize. Later that year, they also worked at TU Delft | Aerospace Engineering as a Teaching Assistant for Control Theory and Vibration Mechanics, leading biweekly help sessions, contributing to course development, and co-grading two exams for 400+ students. Currently, Killian is employed at DeepX, Inc. as the Head of Control Section, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Control Engineer and Control Engineering Intern.
Killian Dally has an education history that includes a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology from 2016 to 2019, a Minor in Data Analysis from Tokyo Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2019, and an MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Control & Simulation from Delft University of Technology from 2019 to 2021. Killian has also obtained certifications from The Construct, deeplearning.ai, and deeplearning.ai, including ROS For Beginners Path in April 2021, TensorFlow Developer Professional Certificate in November 2020, and Deep Learning Specialization in October 2020.
