Ande Smith is currently the Chief Information Officer at Maine Community College System, leading the digital transformation of the IT infrastructure. With an extensive background in cybersecurity and IT management, Ande has held various leadership positions in both the public and private sectors. From serving as the President of DeerBrook, a cybersecurity consulting practice, to being the CIO of the State of Maine, Ande has demonstrated expertise in information security, privacy, and compliance. With a BS in Nuclear Engineering, JD in Law, and MPA in Public Policy, Ande brings a diverse skill set to their role as a technology leader.
