Sombi R.

Sombi R. is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Engineering Manager and formerly as a Senior Data Engineer at Deezer since September 2021. Prior to this, Sombi worked as a Data Engineer at EXFO from September 2019 to August 2021, focusing on modernizing Big Data tools for the telecom industry and developing cloud-native solutions using technologies such as Kafka Streaming and Spark. From October 2015 to September 2019, Sombi was a Big Data Consultant at Amadeus, where responsibilities included data platform migration and the creation of ETL pipelines. Sombi holds a Mastère Spécialisé in Big Data from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble and Grenoble Ecole de Management, as well as a Master's degree in Solutions informatiques libres from Université d'Angers.
