Théo Bontempelli is a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Deezer, where they design and develop large-scale machine learning systems that enhance personalized music recommendations for millions of users. With a focus on improving user and content representations, Théo leads projects from research and ideation to production deployment, employing innovative models tailored to the unique challenges of music streaming. Their previous experience includes roles as a Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist, where they worked on various machine learning initiatives, including collaborative filtering and reinforcement learning. Théo holds a Licence in Mathematics and Computer Science from Université Paris-Est Créteil and a Diplôme d'ingénieur from Polytech'Lille.
