Ashley W.

Ashley W. is a seasoned technical director at Urbane Security, where responsibilities include internal engineering and security research since February 2022. As a CFP Board Member at DEF CON since 2017, Ashley has contributed to workshops and talks, enhancing the cybersecurity community. Previously, Ashley served as Vice Chair of the IoT Special Interest Group at M3AAWG, focusing on IoT-related content proposals. Experience also includes roles as Technical Director at Valimail, where efforts were concentrated on secure communication solutions for IoT, and significant positions at CloudPassage, AlienVault, and Company Confidential, involved in engineering support, product development, and team management. Ashley began a career in technology in 2003 and has built extensive expertise in networking, server administration, and product integration over the years, complemented by education from Chattanooga State Technical Community College.
