Dirk Sell is the founder of r00tz Asylum, a non-profit initiative established in 2010 dedicated to encouraging children to embrace white-hat hacking. In addition, Dirk serves as the Press Relations Manager for DEF CON since 2001 and co-founded Montara Mountain Inc. in 2000, where Dirk acts as Director, focusing on digital security and privacy consultancy, encompassing branding, product development, public relations, business development, and funding. Dirk holds a degree from Bucknell University, earned between 1986 and 1990.
