Andy Start is the Deputy UK National Armaments Director and CEO of Defence Equipment and Support for the UK MOD, leading a dedicated team of approximately 27,000 individuals to support the nation's service personnel. With a career spanning over 25 years, Andy has held numerous leadership roles, including Director at EADS Astrium and President of RF International at Harris RF Communications. Andy has served on various boards, including techUK and Women in Defence UK, and is currently an Honorary Colonel at the 106 Yeomanry Regiment Royal Artillery. Andy completed a Master’s in Strategy and International Relations at King's College London and has played a significant role in reshaping tech businesses valued in the hundreds of millions.
