Liam Maddren

Liam Maddren has worked as a Security Operations Engineer at DEFEND since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at PwC New Zealand as a Cyber Security Analyst from March 2020 to September 2022. From November 2017 to March 2020, they served as a Unified Communications Engineer at Ethan Group. In 2017, they also worked as a Website Developer at Head2Head Charity. Liam began their career as a Merchandiser at Goodman Fielder in February 2016 and stayed there until November 2017.

Liam Maddren received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Auckland University of Technology from 2014 to 2017. During the same period, they also obtained another Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same institution. In addition to their degrees, Liam has earned several certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in September 2022, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals from Microsoft in June 2022, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in December 2021.
