Tom Jenkins

Tom Jenkins has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security and customer support. Tom currently holds the role of Cyber Security Engineer at DEFEND, starting from April 2022. Prior to this, Tom worked at Vodafone New Zealand where they served as a Cyber Security Consultant from April 2022 to June 2022, a Cyber Security Operations Analyst from May 2021 to April 2022, and a Service Desk Analyst from October 2019 to May 2021.

Before joining Vodafone, Tom worked as a Help Desk Support Analyst at Inspire Net Limited from November 2016 to October 2019. Additionally, they gained experience as a Shift Manager at McDonald's from August 2013 to October 2016.

Tom Jenkins received a Diploma in Information Technology from UCOL Te Pūkenga in 2013. In addition, they obtained several certifications from Qualys, including Qualys Certified Specialist - Cloud Agent in March 2023, Qualys Certified Specialist - Scanning Strategies and Best Practices in August 2021, Qualys Certified Specialist - Global IT Asset Inventory and Management in July 2021, Qualys Certified Specialist - Vulnerability Management in June 2021, and Qualys Certified Specialist - Vulnerability Management Detection & Response in May 2021.
