Mitchell Gettle has extensive experience in public affairs and management within the U.S. Air Force and the Defense Media Activity. They served as a Public Affairs Specialist and Instructor from 1987 to 2010 before taking on various leadership roles, including Director of the Air Force Production Directorate at Defense Media Activity, a position held since 2014. Mitchell also worked as a Public Affairs Exercise Planner for the Joint Public Affairs Support Element and as Chief of the Air Force News Service Division within the Department of Defense. They earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Capella University and an Associate's degree in Public Affairs from the Community College of the Air Force.
