DEFERRARI+MODESTI founded in 2010 in Florence by Lavinia Modesti and Javier Deferrari. 

Before establishing the studio, we gained various experiences, including collaborations with Enzo Mari, Manuel Gausa, and finally with Stefano Boeri and Giovanni La Varra. 

Over the years, we have focused our research in the field of Interior Design, developing projects of different scales and types, creating a unique concept each time with its own distinct poetic. 

We specialize in interior architectural design (private residences, showrooms, offices, shops, bars, and restaurants), as well as the design of installations in both the museum and corporate contexts. We carefully study every technical detail, aiming to achieve a coherent space in its various parts. 

We meticulously oversee the sampling of materials, working closely with artisanal companies to identify the most suitable solutions. 

We collaborate with both private clients and important institutions and companies, including the Uffizi Gallery, Targetti, Toscana Resort Castelfalfi, Castello di Banfi, Marca Corona, Piaggio Museum, and Cruna. 

Our projects have been featured in numerous industry magazines and have received numerous national and international awards. 
In addition to our professional design work, we are actively involved in academic pursuits. 

Since 2017, we have collaborated with IED Florence as coordinators and professors for the Bachelor degree course in Interior Design
