Located in the city is the newly completed Defiance City Schools and Athletic Facilities campus, and we have several parochial elementary schools as well. We are also the home of Defiance College – Go Yellow Jackets!

Nestled at the confluence of the the Maumee River, a state Scenic and Recreational River, and the Auglaize River, a lesson rich in history of the past several hundred years with stories of American Indians, American & British military, and the site of a fort that offered protection and defied “all the devils in hell” await.
