Anna Matyszczyk

Anna Matyszczyk has a diverse work experience in the fields of translation, localization, and language teaching. Anna began their career as a Translation Intern at mLingua.pl in 2012. Anna then worked as an English Language Teacher at Studium MW from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they joined Electronic Arts (EA) as a Polish Localization Tester and also participated in the EA Campus program. Anna later worked as an English Language Teacher at Profi-Lingua from 2014 to 2015. Anna then returned to Electronic Arts (EA) as a Polish Localization Tester from 2015 to 2017. Anna then joined Expedia, Inc. as a Localization Quality Manager from 2017 to 2020. Anna then worked at Huawei as a Polish Language Owner from 2020 to 2020. Currently, they are employed at Defined.ai, where they started as a Translation Project Manager in November 2020 and was promoted to Senior Translation Project Manager in March 2021.

Anna Matyszczyk has an extensive education history. Anna attended the University of Lodz from 2009 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Linguistics. Anna then continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Linguistics and Translation from 2012 to 2014.

In 2013, Anna participated in the Erasmus Student Exchange Program at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they focused on Linguistics. Following this experience, they furthered their education by obtaining a Certificate in Localization Project Management from the University of Washington in 2020.
