David S.

David S. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2020, they worked as the Head of Technology at Definely. Prior to that, between 2008 and 2012, they served as the Co-President and Chairman at the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Silicon Valley, where they successfully revived the chapter and upgraded their communication and IT infrastructure. From 2001 to 2012, they worked at IBM, first as a Board Member for IBM Silicon Valley Latinos, where they contributed to outlining goals and events for Latino employees and assisted in hosting a town hall meeting of IBM Latino executives. David later transitioned to a Software Engineer role, where they developed and executed tests for various IMS tools and coordinated projects for system environments. Additionally, from 2001 to 2004, they held various positions at IBM, including IMS Data Management Tools Developer and DB2 OLAP Server Quality Assurance. Finally, between 2004 and 2009, they mentored at the Overfelt High School Electronics Academy as part of the East Side Union High School District.

From 2000 to 2004, David S. attended the University of Southern California. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
