Houssam Kayal

Houssam Kayal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fintech, digital transformation, and e-commerce. Currently serving as Managing Partner at DefineX since October 2024, Houssam previously held the position of Chief Revenue Officer at FOO, where the focus was on scaling revenue and establishing strategic partnerships. Houssam's entrepreneurial spirit was demonstrated as CEO and Co-Founder of Small Stuffz, and as Head Of Ecommerce at Ajlan & Bros Holding Group, contributing to the development of a comprehensive e-commerce platform for the MENA region. Houssam also played a pivotal role in various consultancy engagements, including at The Saudi Investment Bank and Saudi Telecom Company, providing strategic insights for digital payment solutions and innovations. Houssam holds an Executive MBA from the American University of Beirut and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
