Abbie Brown

Abbie Brown is the Head of National Biodiversity Targets Governance and Reporting at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, a position held since 2024. Over the past five years, they have worked in various policy roles within Defra, including as a Senior Natural Science Analyst and a Senior Environmental Governance Advisor. Abbie gained international experience while working in New Zealand’s Ministry for the Environment and has a background in strategy and sustainability consulting. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge.
