Alex Macdonald

Alex Macdonald has a diverse background in environmental management and procurement, with experience across various organizations. Starting as an Environmental Warden for Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust in early 2012, Alex quickly progressed to leadership roles, including Sub-team Leader for the Plymouth Food Procurement Project at Plymouth University. A significant tenure at the Environment Agency as a Commercial Officer was followed by various positions at Devon County Council, encompassing roles such as Senior Procurement and Contracts Officer - Infrastructure and Waste Management Officer. Alex also served as a Senior Category Officer and Category Manager at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs before taking on roles at Turner & Townsend as Associate Commercial Manager and Senior Commercial Manager. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geography and a Master of Science in Sustainable Environmental Management, both earned at Plymouth University.
