Ashley Winter

Ashley Winter currently serves as the Head of Farming Communications at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since June 2023. Prior to this role, Ashley was the Head of Strategic Communications at the Cabinet Office from October 2019 to July 2023 and served as a Senior Campaigns Advisor at the Ministry of Justice UK from September 2017 to October 2019. Additional experience includes positions as a Communications Officer at the Department for International Development and a temporary Head of Press and Communications at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. Earlier roles include Press Officer at the Ministry of Justice UK, Marketing and Engagement Officer at Raleigh International, and Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Habitat for Humanity International. Ashley holds a postgraduate degree in Digital Marketing from the Institute of Data & Marketing and a BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of East Anglia.
