Brad Harrison

Brad Harrison is a seasoned professional in the field of animal science, currently serving as the Science Lead for Soils and Peat at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since April 2021. As a Senior Scientific Officer, Brad has also contributed as a Freelance Writer since October 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Public Speaker at various conferences and seminars, including the AHDB Dairy Research Conference and BSAS Conference, conducted during tenure at the University of Reading from February 2018 to November 2021. Additionally, Brad has experience as an Admissions Writer, Student Demonstrator, and International Research Fellow at Wageningen University & Research, where optimization of the ANCA model for UK dairy farms was achieved. Previous roles include Research and Development Administrator at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and Shop Assistant at Asda. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Animal Science and a BSc (Hons) in Animal Science from the University of Reading.
