Chris Dodsworth is currently the Senior Private Secretary to the Secretary of State at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Previously, Chris served as a Generalist Fast Streamer within the Civil Service from 2020 to 2023 and held the role of Secretariat Officer at the Cabinet Office, contributing to national campaigns including COVID communications. In addition to this experience, Chris volunteered with the mental health charity SANE while completing a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient and Modern History at the University of Oxford and a Master of Philosophy in Classics at the University of Cambridge. Chris also worked as an International Policy Adviser at HM Revenue & Customs, focusing on the World Customs Organisation.
