Ciaran Devlin is currently serving as the Deputy Director and Head of Evidence & Analysis for the Future Farming and Countryside Programme at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since March 2020. Prior experience includes a role as Deputy Chief Analyst at the Cabinet Office, where Ciaran led a team providing policy advice on housing, healthcare, and labour market programs from September 2016 to March 2020. Ciaran also held the position of Head of Economics and Research at the Migration Advisory Committee secretariat from December 2014 to August 2016, focusing on evidence-based advice regarding migration. Earlier roles include serving as Economic Adviser at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, where Ciaran analyzed migration and labour market issues, and as an Economist in the Labour Market Directorate and Better Regulation Executive. Ciaran holds an MPA in Public and Economic Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science and an MA (hons) in Mathematics from The University of Edinburgh.
