Clare Delaney is a highly qualified major project leader with over 20 years of experience in government transformation, currently serving as the Deputy Director at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Clare previously held roles such as Deputy Director Design Hub at HM Land Registry, where they led an enterprise design hub during a critical transformation phase, and Programme Director at the Care Quality Commission, focusing on organisational transformation. Their extensive background in programme and project management includes significant contributions to the Olympic Security Programme at the UK Home Office, as well as leading change initiatives within the National Crime Agency and the Metropolitan Police. Clare earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Warwick and a Master of Science in Management Science & Operational Research from Lancaster University, supplemented by training at the Major Projects Leadership Academy at the University of Oxford.
