David Caldwell

David Caldwell currently serves as the Interim Deputy Director of Digital Transformation at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, leading a team focused on delivering Defra's Digital and Data Transformation Strategy. Prior experience includes roles at the UK Home Office, where David was Interim Head of DDaT Strategy and led the Head of Technology and Digital Assurance, as well as Head of Accessibility and Digital Inclusion, driving improvements in digital and data understanding and accessibility compliance. David also held a leadership position at Barclays as a Senior Digital Accessibility Consultant, where efforts were directed towards making the organization more accessible and inclusive. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Forensics from Northumbria University and a Professional Diploma in Banking Practice and Management from IFS School of Finance.
