Elspeth Ransom

Elspeth Ransom is an accomplished professional in the fields of policy development and scientific research, currently serving as the Tree Health Policy Lead at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since April 2021, where responsibilities include developing tree health policy and managing responses to pest and disease outbreaks. Previous roles include Senior Policy Advisor for Food and Drink Exports and International Strategy for Agri-food Chain, where Elspeth contributed significantly to international governance structures and strategic initiatives.
