Emily Cleaton is an accomplished government official with extensive experience in various roles within the UK civil service. Currently serving as the Deputy Principal Private Secretary at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since June 2023, Emily has held multiple significant positions, including Private Secretary to the Principal Private Secretary at 10 Downing Street and Private Secretary to the Secretary of State at the Department for Work and Pensions.
