Fran Cooney

Fran Cooney has extensive experience in IT service management, currently serving as Service Owner for Connectivity Services and Head of Service Operations at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since November 2016. Previous roles include Operations Control Manager and Head of Operations Control at Defra, where accountability for Service Desk provision and incident management was key. Additionally, Fran held the position of Head of Service Transition at the Environment Agency, overseeing outsourced IT supplier management and project transitions. Earlier experiences include Senior Change Analyst at Axa Technology and various roles at Orange, where foundational knowledge of ITIL was developed. Fran holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies from the University of the West of England.
