Gemma Ellis

Gemma Ellis is a seasoned content designer currently working at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since October 2023. Previously, Gemma held the position of Senior Web Manager at UK Research and Innovation from June 2019 to October 2023, where significant achievements included leading a major website transformation project and enhancing user-focused content for funding applications for postgraduate students. Prior to this, Gemma managed web content as Web Editor and Publisher at Innovate UK and served as Senior Press Officer at Jisc, focusing on raising awareness of education technology. Early career experiences include account management and PR roles across various sectors, with a foundation in English Literature and Language Studies from Cardiff University.
