James Bertin

James Bertin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. James started their career in 2004, working with the Liberal Democrats in campaigns and press until 2011. In 2011, they worked as a Senior Account Executive at PLMR. In 2014, they had a brief role as a UK Government NATO Summit Liaison Officer. From 2017 to 2017, they served as a Senior Media Officer (secondment) at the Department for International Development (DFID). In 2018, they worked as a Media Liaison Officer for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. From 2012 to 2019, they worked at the Environment Agency, initially as a Media Officer, then as a Senior Media Officer, and finally as a Team Leader (media). Currently, they hold the position of Chief Press Officer at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

James Bertin has a Master's degree in Politics from The University of Sheffield, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. James also has a Diploma in Public Relations/Image Management from CIPR Qualifications, earned from 2012 to 2013.
