Jamie Rendell

Jamie Rendell has extensive experience in the field of biodiversity and wildlife conservation, currently serving as the Deputy Director for International Biodiversity and Wildlife at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since August 2004. Previous roles at Defra include Deputy Head of International Wildlife Trade and Migratory Species Protection, Head of International Fisheries Negotiations and Marine Species Protection, and Marine Science and Policy Advisor. Prior to joining Defra, Jamie Rendell worked as an IT Support Analyst at Energis from January 2002 to August 2004. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Biodiversity Conservation from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from the University of Reading.
