Jen Farrell

Jen Farrell has extensive experience in public sector food procurement and policy advisory roles, having worked with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from July 2024 to April 2021. In the capacity of Head of Public Sector Food Procurement, Jen led efforts to establish and uphold high food and environmental standards across government and public sectors. Previous roles included Senior Food and Drink Manufacturing Policy Advisor, where management of various business accounts and coordination of governmental policy inputs occurred, and Food and Drink Manufacturing Team Leader, focused on supply chain resilience. Jen also served as a Caseworker at the Department for Work and Pensions from February 2018 to May 2019. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education from Northumbria University and a Bachelor's degree in French and Spanish from Newcastle University.
