Jesse Katto

Jesse Katto is a Civil Servant at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) since April 2004, currently serving as the Procurement Category Manager for Consultancy and Corporate Services. Responsibilities include supporting contract management, engaging with suppliers, drafting procurement documents, providing procurement advice, managing invoice queries, raising purchase orders, and training new colleagues on procurement procedures. Additionally, Jesse serves as the Treasurer of Defra’s Ethnic Minority Network, which aids in addressing challenges faced by ethnic minority staff and contributes to the organization's Equality and Diversity strategy. Previously, from June 2014 to December 2015, Jesse held the position of Finance Manager - Recharge Lead, focusing on maintaining the recharging process for IT services across Defra's Network Bodies and Executive Agencies.
