John Calvert currently serves as the Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since April 2022. Prior to this role, John held the position of Diversity and Inclusion Lead at HM Land Registry from July 2017 to June 2022, where accountability included the delivery of a four-year Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan. John's earlier experience at HM Land Registry also involved roles as an HR Strategy and Policy Officer and HR Business Partner from 2008 to 2016, along with previous service as an HR Business Partner at Land Registry from June 2008 to June 2015. John holds a Master's degree in Personnel and Development from the University of Westminster, obtained between 2006 and 2008, and received education at Borden Grammar School.
