John Dodds

John Dodds is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in service management and transition within public sector organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Service Asset & Configuration Management at Defra since April 2014, John has successfully established the SACM function, managed a substantial software budget exceeding £38 million, and led a team to optimize supplier relationships and maintain data integrity. Prior to this role, John held various leadership positions at Defra, including Head of Service Transition and Control and Head of Service Development, and served as Chief Information Officer at the Marine Management Organisation, along with multiple roles at RM Education and DWP. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Services Management from Northumbria University.
