John Watson

John Watson has extensive experience in software development, with a career spanning over two decades. Since April 2017, John has held multiple progressive roles at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, culminating in the position of Principal Developer. Prior to this, John worked at the Rural Payments Agency from August 2005 to March 2017, serving as a Senior Developer and Developer. Earlier experience includes a role as a Sales Advisor at Index Ltd from September 2001 to July 2005, and a position as a Team Member at the Rural Payments Agency in 2001. John earned a BA in Business Administration and Management from Northumbria University between 2001 and 2004, having completed secondary education at Ryton Comprehensive School from 1994 to 2001.
