Jon Taylor

Jon Taylor is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental policy and management. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of Gamebird Policy and Head of Future Landscapes at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since February 2018, Jon Taylor drives the implementation of the Landscapes Review, collaborates with stakeholders, advises ministers, and oversees a £70 million budget. Previous roles include Enforcement and Devolution Lead at the Office for Environmental Protection, Associate at LUC, and Landscape and Design Manager at Wiltshire Council, where Jon Taylor managed multidisciplinary teams and engaged in policy reforms. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Spatial Planning from Oxford Brookes University and a Master of Science in Ecology and Environmental Management from Liverpool Hope University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Queen's University Belfast.
