Jonathan Ainley

Jonathan Ainley is an experienced economist currently serving as a Fast Stream Economist in Farming Economics at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since October 2022. Previously, Jonathan worked at the Department for Transport, where roles included leading the development of forecasting publications and enhancing data visualization tools. Earlier experience also encompasses analytical roles within the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and a commercial assistant internship at Carillion, contributing to effective cost modeling. Jonathan holds a Master's degree in Behavioural Economics from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Kent.
