Jonathan Robinson

Jonathan Robinson has extensive experience in government roles, currently serving as Deputy Head of Air Quality and Industrial Emissions at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since March 2021. Prior positions include Head of Digital Transformation of Regulation and various roles within the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, where responsibilities spanned across significant legislative initiatives such as the UK Internal Market Bill and Nuclear Safeguards Bill. Jonathan also held senior policy advisory roles focusing on smart energy strategy and wholesale electricity markets in the Department of Energy and Climate Change. An early career in the Department for Education involved leadership in adoption reform legislation and various educational policies. Jonathan holds an MSc in Public Policy and Management from Birkbeck, University of London and a degree from The University of Manchester.
