Jonny P.

Jonny P. is a highly experienced professional in environmental policy and fisheries management with a history of leadership roles. Currently serving as Head of International Fisheries Negotiations at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since November 2018, Jonny leads negotiation teams on the UK's international fisheries interests. Previous roles include Head of Catching and Monitoring Policy, where Jonny managed fishing quotas and bycatch issues, and Team Leader on Quota and Common Market Organisation Policy. Jonny also held positions at the Environment Agency as Senior Advisor and Interim Manager in estuarine and coastal planning, and has experience in marine licensing with the Marine Management Organisation. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Environmental Management from the University of Bath and legal practice diplomas from Northumbria University, complemented by a degree in Computer Science from the University of Lincoln.
