Katie Smith

Katie Smith is the Head of Water Efficiency and Demand Management, having previously served as a Water Resilience Advisor at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. They also held roles such as Funding & Strategy Advisor for Rail Travel at the Department for Transport and Private Secretary to the Director of Testing at the UK Health Security Agency during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, Katie gained early experience as an Advocacy Receptionist with UEA Students' Union and as a Customer Service Assistant at Jet Service Station. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of East Anglia, where they were also involved as a Future’s Advocate and Higher Education Mentor.
