Lee Edney has extensive experience in various leadership roles, primarily in government and engineering sectors. At BT from July 2009 to May 2016, Lee served as Senior Leader Global Network Implementation, Network Manager, and EMEA E2E Delivery Lead. Following this, a brief tenure as a Civil Servant at the Department for Education occurred in early 2017, fulfilling roles as Programme Planning & Performance Manager and Head of PMO for the Priority School Building Programme. From February 2020 to January 2025, Lee was Head of New Prisons Portfolio Office at the Ministry of Justice UK. Currently, Lee holds the position of DD Central Programme Office for the Science Capability in Animal Health Programme at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since January 2025. Lee holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Surrey, obtained between 2001 and 2005.
